SPI is involved with two ground-breaking projects in Jordan.  SPI has long identified Jordan as a country with great potential for the SPI paradigm, with its fantastic people, extraordinary archaeological richness, and strong heritage tourism sector, and previously worked with Dartmouth’s Tuck Business School to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the country.  SPI has now partnered with two international institutions on projects to implement and understand Jordan's communities and how archaeology can bring real development and economic benefits to local people, and preserve vulnerable sites.
